Happy Baby was a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting early parent–child bonding through the design and distribution of an affordable, locally produced, ergonomic baby carrier.
The project was grounded in the understanding that carrying a baby from birth and maintaining skin-to-skin contact is one of the most effective ways to foster secure attachment between parents and infants. This early bond plays a fundamental role in emotional development, contributing to the emergence of confident, resilient and well-adjusted adults.
Happy Baby was initiated by its founder, Robert Frost, with the ambition of making babywearing accessible to every family, regardless of geography or income. The goal was to design a carrier that was comfortable, secure, intuitive to use and easy to manufacture, enabling local production while maintaining high standards of safety and ergonomics.
The organization positioned design not as an aesthetic exercise, but as a social tool—one capable of strengthening human connection and supporting healthier developmental outcomes. Happy Baby stood at the intersection of design, care and social responsibility, demonstrating how thoughtful product and communication design can contribute to meaningful social impact.
I was very pleased to contribute to this project through the design and development of the organization’s website, translating its mission, values and social purpose into a clear, accessible and human-centered digital presence.
