MotMot

Palabras Animadas

MotMot – Animated Words was born as a playful and creative experiment between two friends, Javier Rodero and Giovanni Jubert, at a moment in life when children naturally become part of everyday conversations. Growing weary of the dominance of conventional cartoons, the idea emerged almost as a manifesto: enough animated images—let’s give them animated words. From this intuition, MotMot took shape.

Conceived as a television series project, MotMot never made it to broadcast, yet it remains very much alive as a creative body of work—resting patiently in a drawer, waiting for the right moment to resurface. Together, we developed several episodes, a teaser, and additional short pieces, as well as a complete 12-episode lineup for a first season.

Designed to be exportable, translatable and timeless, MotMot was above all an open playground for imagination. The project allowed us to explore humor, language and visual storytelling with complete freedom, leading to long days of shared laughter, experimentation and creative momentum.

MotMot stands as a reminder of the value of unfiltered creative collaboration, where process matters as much as outcome, and where ideas are allowed to exist simply because they are joyful, curious and alive.
