Château Lafitte

Biodynamic Raw Wines from Jurançon

Château Lafitte is a family-run winery owned by the Arraou family, located in Monein, in the heart of Aquitaine. Since 2012, the estate has been managed by Antoine Arraou, a passionate winegrower deeply committed to environmental preservation and sustainable agriculture.

The vineyard covers 5 hectares, planted equally with Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, two emblematic grape varieties of the region. From the outset, Château Lafitte has followed organic farming practices, strictly prohibiting the use of synthetic chemical products. This commitment has been further strengthened through the adoption of biodynamic principles, driven by the conviction that viticulture must evolve toward more respectful, balanced and sustainable models.

Within this context, I have had the privilege of acting as design consultant and art director for the development and marketing of the estate’s wines since its creation in 2004. Our collaboration is rooted in a shared set of ecological, ethical and human values, where design is understood as a means of respect—both for the land and for the product itself.

The visual approach is based on the use of noble, honest materials and refined, minimalist graphic systems, deliberately restrained to allow the wine to speak for itself. Each design decision seeks balance and clarity, reinforcing the authenticity of the estate while supporting a contemporary, coherent and enduring brand expression.

The resulting work reflects a philosophy where craft, sustainability and restraint converge, positioning Château Lafitte as a winery whose visual identity is inseparable from its commitment to the land and to the integrity of its wines.
